McCain

Barbara McCain – Professor of Management

Education: Post Doctoral, Business Administration, University of Oklahoma
                Ph.D., Communication/Management, University of Oklahoma
                M.A., Education/Psychology, University of Central Oklahoma
                B.A., Education, Uni of Central Oklahoma

Areas of Expertise:  Dr. McCain specializes in organizational behavior, organizational communication and team building. Her current research focuses on organizational culture in different national cultures as well as different industries. She teaches organizational behavior and is a certified mediator.

Professional Activities:  McCain has contributed articles and cases to several books including "Managing Organizational Behavior" and "Understand Organizational Communication," and she is a co-author of "Transitions: A Guidebook to Understanding Intercultural Communication." She published "Multicultural Team Learning, Western Management Has Much to Learn About Intercultural Relationships, Chaos and Drama: The Ethics of Downsizing" (ABA Proceedings). McCain has consulted with such organizations as Veterans Hospital of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, Oklahoma State Police Academy, Coors Brewing Co. and Johns Manville Corporation.



willner

Jonathan Willner - Associate Professor of Economics

Education: Ph.D., Economics, Purdue University
                M.S., Economics, Purdue University
                B.A., Colorado State University

Areas of Expertise:  Dr. Willner specializes in the areas of intellectual property rights with specific emphasis on law and international aspects, strategics aspects of international trade law, temporary employment agencies' impact on the macro economy, computers and educational productivity, and intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. He teaches courses in macroeconomics and microeconomics.

Professional Activities: Willner volunteers his time to teach economics at Classes School of Advanced Studies in Oklahoma City. He is a consultant in legal disputes concerning wages owed by contracts and cost reduction and increased productivity. He is a member of the American Economic Association, the Atlantic Economic Association, the Western Economic Association and Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society.



Rodgers

Jacci L. Rodgers - Professor of Accounting

Education:  Ph.D., Accounting, The University of Oklahoma
                 B.B.A, Accounting, Wright State University

Areas of Expertise:  A certified public accountant and certified management accountant, Dr. Rodgers specializes in the accumulation and dissemination of cost-based accounting data and its use by management. She also has extensive training in TQM and ISO 9000 techniques and practices. Her current research focuses on the use of accounting information to aid in managerial decision making and professional implications of educational exercises. She teaches courses in cost and managerial accounting and auditing and consults in these areas as well as TQM. Dr. Rodgers is the faculty liaison for Assessment at OCU.

Professional Activities:  Dr. Rodgers is the Assistant Honors Director at OCU, and currently co-chairs the Finance Committee of the National Collegiate Honors Council. Her Research has been published in "Management  Accounting," "Critical Perspectives of Accounting" and "The Accounting Historians Journal." Professor Rodgers is involved in many school and university committees and task forces that create policy. She has consulted with the Oklahoma City Police Department (through OCU), the United Methodist Clergy, and other groups on TQM.



Fitz

Patrick W. Fitzgerald - Professor of Finance and Economics
Education:  Ph.D., University of Texas, Austin
                 Ed.D., Oklahoma State University
                 J.D., University of Oklahoma
                 Th.M., Harvard University
                 M.Div., Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary
                 M.B.A., Southern Methodist University
                 B.B.A., University of Texas, Arlington

Dr Fitzgerald has been a visiting scholar or post doctoral fellow at the following institutions: Yale Law School, Yale Divinity school, University of Chicago, Duke University, and the University of California at Berkeley. He has also completed substantial graduate work in ethics at the Princeton Theological Seminary.

Areas of Expertise:  Dr. Fitzgerald teaches finance, economics, law and ethics. Research includes issues regarding financial ethics and the relationship between the law, economics and ethics. His research also focuses on securities law and regulations, economics and public policy.

Professional Activities:  Professor Fitzgerald has written and edited numerous books and articles. He appears frequently as an expert witness in courts and before administrative agencies throughout the United States. He consults with large and small businesses on a variety of issues including business planning, business valuations, law and ethics. Fitzgerald is a member of many professional associations including the Oklahoma and Texas Bar Associations. He is a referee for the journal "Accounting, Public Policy and Ethics."



Brown

Thomas L. Brown - Professor of Marketing and C.R. Anthony Chair of Competitive Enterprises

Education:  Ph.D., Business Administration, Oklahoma State University
                 MBA, Marketing, Oklahoma State University
                 B.S., Management, Oklahoma State University
                 B.A., Univrestiy of Oklahoma

Areas Of Expertise:  Dr. Brown specializes in strategic marketing and the development of marketing strategies for entering international markets. His current research focuses on the development of market entry strategies in developing economies. Professor Brown teaches courses in strategic marketing decisions.

Professional Activities:  A former dean, Brown has long been active in a number of professional organizations including the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business, the International Association for management Education, the American Marketing Association, the Academy of Marketing Science and the Institute of Decision Sciences. His research has appeared in the "Journal of Marketing Education,""Marketing Science,""Business Horizons" and "Management Horizons." He has presented papers at several professional meetings including the Institute of Decision Scieneces, the American Psychological Association, the Association for Consumer Research, the American Management Association for Global Business.
