Established in 2001, the SCCIOB Alumni Club strives to organise meaningful activities to benefit the alumni, SCCIOB and society as a whole. The types of activities include talks, seminars, reunion functions etc. Through such activities, it hopes to forge closer ties between students, strengthen the bond between students and the Institute as well as provide networking opportunities for students.
The objectives of the Alumni Club are as follows:
a) To establish an extensive network for Club members, unite the different cohorts of Club members and strive for the collective development of the Club
b) To facilitate mutual exchange of knowledge and information through organising get-together activities such as fellowship sessions and seminars so as to enrich the social lives of both Club members and their families.
c) To get Club members to collectively support the goals of SCCIOB
Types of Alumni Membership and Eligibility
Students who have completed any course conducted by SCCIOB are eligible to join the Alumni Club as an Ordinary or Associate Member.
SCCIOB’s Diploma holders or other degree holders approved by SCCIOB are eligible to join the Alumni Club as an Ordinary Member. All other course graduates and participants of SCCIOB may join the Club as an Associate Member.
Alumni Membership Benefits
Alumni members are accorded priority to attend the Alumni Club activities and will receive information and materials relating to the Club. Alumni members will be allowed to borrow books free of charge at SCCIOB’s library, enrol for courses offered by the institute and use the institute’s facilities at a concessionary rate.
Eligible and interested persons are required to complete the ‘Alumni Membership Application Form’. The form could be downloaded here.
