Business Mandarin is becoming important and prevalent as China’s influence on global trade is on the rise through their different initiatives. Singapore with close to three decades of diplomatic relations with China continues to deepen our mutual ties through free trade agreements and other projects. Organisations which are or going to be involved trade or business exchanges with China will have to gear up their staff to make impactful presentations to conclude meetings, conferences, trade shows, proposals, deals and projects.
Effective Presentation Skills is for Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians who are proficient in Mandarin wanting to make an effective presentation in a business context. Participants will be equipped with various techniques in making standup presentations and engaging audiences in a range of situations. This course introduces a systematic approach to learn the structure of Chinese presentation with understanding on the difference from English, by comparing the thoughts in Chinese and English, formal and informal Chinese communication as well as using the appropriate language to impact the audience.
Assessment & Certificate
Minimum C6 Pass in 'O' level Chinese or equivalent.
Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays, stand-up presentations and assessment. The group discussions give participants opportunities to share their experiences while the role-plays and stand-up presentations to practice and apply the concepts and approaches as like in real world practice.
