SCCIOB has developed and offers the Developing and Deepening China Ready Skills through Essential Business Mandarin Mastery Series to those who plan to develop and deepen their skills in order to be ready for the opportunities arising from China. PMEs will sharpen their Chinese language proficiency in relation to industry-related terminologies, business etiquette, as well as learn the differences in culture and industry practice between China and Singapore.

All courses are conducted by qualified and experienced facilitators with industry and China experience. Further, concepts and skills learnt are practical, easy to adopt and quick to apply by the PMEs to their job functions when dealing with their Chinese counterparts. These are the value propositions that differentiate the fifteen courses from other similar offerings.

Course Structure:

        Our courses are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner that can comprise of a combination of lectures, current industry-related news and/or information blended with group discussions, stand-up presentations, role-plays, and assessments. Courses with group discussions give participants opportunities to share their experiences while the stand-up presentations and role-plays are to practice and apply the concepts in a structured yet real world context. Quizzes also form an integral part of the programme to reiterate the participants’ learning.
