Business Mandarin for Banking Professionals
Part of the China Ready Suite - Banking and finance professionals who want to understand more the cultural nuances of China to interact with their Chinese counterparts or clients will learn of the typical business practices from this course. The holistic structure of this course focuses on two aspects.

Module Content
The soft skill aspect emphasising on business etiquette such as formal and respectful greetings, small talk and expressing one’s thoughts in Mandarin that leads to a favourable outcome after each meeting. The industry profession aspect covering the overview of the Chinese Financial system, industry-related terminologies in banking, financing and the challenge to express numerical value in Chinese.

Methodology
Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays and individual assessments. The group discussions give participants the opportunities to share their experience while role-playing helps the practice and application of concepts and approaches learned through the course.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to introduce banking services and financial investment products with good command of technical terms and numbers in Mandarin, we will also learn how to convince and gain trust from China clients with Chinese business etiquette, communication skills and marketing strategies.
