Work effectively in the area of developing team members’ skills. Covers identifying skill development needs, addressing skill needs and motivating employees to develop their skills.
Module Content
- Review current skills and needs of team members
- Identify further needs of the team members
- Develop the learning opportunities for team members to address these needs
- Provide motivation and support
- Motivate team members to work independently
- Provide on-the-job support and coaching
- Encourage team members to take on additional portfolios so as to learn throughout the process
Methodology
Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays and individual assessments. The group discussions give participants the opportunities to share their experience while role-playing helps the practice and application of concepts and approaches learned through the course.
Target Participants:
Supervisors, Managers or Team Leaders who are required to constantly identify and address the skill development needs of their team members, and to motivate them to work independently
Medium of Instruction:
English
Total Training Hours: 17.75 hours (2 days)
Assessment and Certification
Participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass the end-of-course assessment will be awarded the Statement of Attainment
(FOR ALL 16 Hours course)
Participants who achieve 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course assessment will be awarded the Statement of Attainment
(FOR ALL 4/ 8 Hours course)
