WSQ Diploma in Design (Innovation)
Adopt emphathetic design to determine user's needs and wants, facilitate workshops for narrative design principles and storytelling techniques to conceptualise solutions. (Available in English only)
Course Content:
To equip professional, managerial and executives (PMEs) that are currently working or those intending to make a career switch to jobs specialising in design thinking and innovation.
The programme emphasises the manager’s ability and discipline to adopt empathetic design in determining the user’s needs and wants (the problem), facilitate workshops include narrative design principles and storytelling techniques to get team members to better understand the user’s needs and wants prior to thinking and conceptualising a solution or solutions. Conduct business presentation delivery to attain buy-in when engaging internal and external stakeholders for innovative solutions as conceptualised and developed by the team.
Course Participant Requirements
- Age 21 years or above and have at least 2 years of work experience in supervisory or leadership position.
- Able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 5 WPL (Comprehensive) and WPN.
- All course modules must be completed in sequence
- Course Fee before Funding, subject to 8% GST - $5,292.00
