Social Media Management

Leverage various social networking platforms to deliver the organisation's value propositions as well as contextual and targeted messaging based on real-time customer insights to engage in two-way communication with prospects and customers

Module Content

  • Develop marketing content to socialise and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
  • Report on social media activities and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of social media use
  • Conduct analysis on performance of social media management campaigns and recommend opportunities for improvement
  • Review and analyse customer behaviours, interests and demographics based on social media network data
  • Monitor customer responses, reviews, comments across social network platforms based on customer relationship management policies

Methodology

Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays and individual assessments. The group discussions give participants the opportunities to share their experience while role-playing helps the practice and application of concepts and approaches learned through the course.

Learning Outcomes

  • Structure Social Media Management strategies aimed at targeted customers’ profile
  • Engage customers to gain customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty and conversion via social media platforms.
  • Define metrics and accurately analyse performance of social media management campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for the improvement of the various social media management campaigns.

Target Participants:

  1. Retail Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Store Manager / Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead in the marketing activities of retail store.
  2. PMEs who have the relevant work experience from other service industries or sectors wanting to enhance their knowledge and skills, wanting to expand their job portfolio or are seeking national certification/qualification in the Retail industry specialising in Marketing.
  3. PMEs and career switchers with supervisory or managerial experience, or individuals in other related industries or wanting to join the retail industry specialising in Marketing
  4. Applicants must be proficient with digital devices and apps to attend the e-learning session and complete all online assessments independently.
