In this course, learn to execute tasks related to designing and producing compelling visualisations, infographics and reports for internal clients and stakeholders.

Learning Outcomes
- Employ different tools within Excel to create infographics and data visualisation, according to specific business purposes, types of audience, and information
- Use Excel functions like pivot table and filters to process data for visualisation and presentation
- Use data cleaning and sorting techniques to remove duplicated and inconsistent data.
- Explore different methods to perform statistical and graphical analysis using representative datasets to obtain insightful findings.
- Use appropriate software and data visualization tools to create suitable, engaging, and appealing charts or graphical visuals such as maps, graphs, with comprehensive text based on insightful findings obtained from different analysed data types pertaining to data characteristics, thematic messages, ideas, processes and business contexts to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Follow data visualisation and infographics presentation best practices and standards to effectively deliver information solutions to stakeholders.
- Apply guidelines for drafting cohesive narratives to complement visual content for visual data story telling.
Target Participants:
- PMEs in the retail sector who prepare and present information to decision-makers using effective visuals, iconographies, charts and graphs to convey easy-to-understand insights from data:
- Retail Executives, Merchandising Analysts, Sales Analysts, Inventory Analysts and Pricing Analysts.
- This course can be contextualised for Marketing Analysts, Supply Chain Analysts, Business Intelligence Analysts, Data Analysts and Market Research Analysts from the E-commerce and Food & Beverage industries who want to adopt effective infographic and data visualisation tools to present insights on the findings from the data.
Entry Requirements
- Age 21 years or above and have at least 2 years of work experience in an associate, assistant or executive position.
- Able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 4 WPL (Comprehensive) and WPN.
- Proficient with basic working knowledge and functions of Microsoft Excel
Assessment and Certification
Participants who fulfill at least 75% attendance for the whole course will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance.
