Order Fulfilment and Returns Processing

Develop, revise and monitor order fulfilment guidelines to be competitive and in line with industry standards and in accordance to define the customer experience. (English Only)

Module Content

  • Develop order fulfilment processes for store collection, local and overseas deliveries
  • Oversee the order fulfilment processes
  • Ensure order fulfilment is processed in accordance with the organisation's service standards
  • Manage third-party logistics partners and delivery activities
  • Develop processes for re-ordering of stocks with internal stakeholders
  • Review performance of third-party logistics partners and last mile delivery efficiencies against organisation's business strategies


Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays and individual assessments. The group discussions give participants the opportunities to share their experience while role-playing helps the practice and application of concepts and approaches learned through the course.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Understand the concept of Supply Chain  Management Strategy and Processes
  2. Apply the concepts of Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management Processes to enable Order Fulfilment.
  3. Able to manage the Order Fulfilment and Returns Processing to meet organisation service standards and KPI
  4. Able to understand and monitor the Transportation, Import, Export and Custom activities to fulfil the successful closure of the order fulfilment process.

Target Participants:

  1. E-Commerce/Retail Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead in the daily retail or e-commerce activities of retail store.
  2. PMEs who have the relevant work experience from other service or information technology industries wanting to enhance their knowledge and skills, wanting to expand their job portfolio or are seeking national certification/qualification in the Retail industry focusing on e-commerce.
  3. PMEs and career switchers with supervisory or managerial experience, or individuals in information technology or other related industries or wanting to join the retail industry focusing on e-commerce.

Assessment and Certification

Participants who achieve 75% attendance and pass the end-of-course assessment will be awarded the Statement of Attainment.
