Business Mandarin Specialising in Finance and Accounting Terms
Part of the China Ready Suite - Finance and Accounting professionals and executives in Singapore are increasingly experiencing the need to communicate with their China clients and counterparts on their job or business in Mandarin.

Module Content
The focus of this course is where participants will learn by practising during the course skills pertaining to reviewing financial statements, understanding the economics, financial system and corporate tax system of China. Participants will also have the opportunity to be familiar with the business etiquette and styles of negotiation typically practised in the Chinese business community.

Methodology
Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays and individual assessments. The group discussions give participants the opportunities to share their experience while role-playing helps the practice and application of concepts and approaches learned through the course.
Learning Outcomes
Develop the skill to effectively communicate and engage their counterparts with understanding and knowledge on business etiquette, numerical expressions, China economics and finance system, corporate tax system, finance and accounting terms, which the BMFA course focuses on.

Total Training Hours: 30 hours (3 hours x 10 weeks)
Min. Chinese Proficiency of Applicant:
C6 Pass for GCE ‘O’ Level
Able to comprehend and answer the assessment in Chinese according to the learning mode
In-classroom Training: writing - pen and paper
Synchronous e-learning: hanyu pinyin input method (汉语拼音输入法) using one’s personal computer (PC) web-browser
Assessment and Certification
Participants who achieve 75% attendance and pass the end-of-course assessment will be awarded the Certificate of Proficiency.
